We have been given the greatest responsibility on earth, to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus to His people. We have the responsibility to spread the Gospel to all the world.
The Youth Department of McCormick’s Creek Church has always been missions minded. We first teach our children and youth the fundamental doctrines of the Word of God that will change their lives, make them more like Jesus, and ultimately take them to heaven. |
On Wednesdays, after worship service, the Youth go to the Youth Development Center for class and for Sunday School, the Youth are split into the following classes: |

We then teach them to focus on fulfilling the Great Commission themselves. We teach our children and youth that they have what it takes to be “world changers.” Jesus said in Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached unto all nations, and then shall the end come.”
It is the mission of the MCC Youth Department to equip our young people with the tools to become world-reachers and to look forward to the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Youth Protectors Program
We have many different types of ministries in our youth department, but one that we are especially excited about is our newest. It is called "Youth Protectors" ministry. This ministry is for 12-20 year old youth members. Each one of our youth have been assigned a "Youth Protector". Those "Youth Protectors" are faithful, sold out to God, adult members of our church.
It is the "Youth Protectors" job to help, encourage, pray, and guide the young person that they have been given. They will help lead the youth of today to the place the Lord has called them.
We are living in a time where our young people need the encouragement to stand and fight all the attacks that Satan is throwing at them. Now is the time to stand together in unity and let our youth know they can make it!
